Some specifics have surfaced about Tron Legacy coming to DVD despite devoid of an official date.

There will be a five-disc Blu-ray set that includes Tron: Legacy, the original Tron, Digital Copies pertaining to both movies and the 3D version of Tron: Legacy. Your five-disc set also comes with treasured Identity Disc packaging. There will also be a four-disc set for Tron: Legacy, which includes the Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, DVD and also Digital Copy, a four-disc two-movie collection, two-disc Blu-ray/DVD set and the standard DVD.

Recently it was announced that copies of Tron on Dvd movie were becoming rare in anticipation for the release of the film, and as expected they will re-release it with the collectors set so you can get the original film and Tron Legacy on one collectors established.

I do like this they are offering the 3D Bluray version for those who have invested in Animations TVs with the standard Bluray as well. Gives you options with no making you re-purchase the movie in 3 dimensional if you upgrade later.

I am aware I will be buying the full established with the original and all your trimmings. Its good to see these kinds of sets being offered right out in the gate instead of releasing the particular film and waiting half a year to Lucas with a collectors version.
