When I told DJ Anne Litt I had reserved actor Colin Firth for a Guest DJ Project taping, she basically begged me to sponsor it. And who can guilt her? The actor isn’t just incredibly talented, but beautiful and charming.
The moment this individual won MY heart ended up being when I saw that their song list included Big t Rex – he admitted to a smash on Marc Bolan so we instantly acquired something in common. He furthermore reveals his love for Enormous Attack’s sexy activism – calling them one of the best are living acts he’s ever seen – and shares the White Beating track he rocks to on school runs regarding his kids.
He is already successful praise and Oscar chatter with regard to his role in The King’s Speech, which is out November Twenty six. In the meantime, check out his Guest DJ set.
Longtime station favorite and multi-instrumental king Shawn Shelter finally made his live debut at KCRW last week. They thanked Jason for being the first Disk jockey to ever play his / her music on the radio as well as treated us to a genuinely fun set of music.
Shawn Shelter is a magical musical appliance who flies through most styles but is still uniquely his own in everything he does. I’m particularly a fan of his handles album “Hits the Hits” where this individual takes on everything from “Hey Ya” (OutKast), “Rehab” (Amy Winehouse) and “Rock Your current Body” (Justin Timberlake). He’s a masterful musical cook cooking up a bounty and he showcases his love for ’60′s and ’70s heart and soul on his latest lp, “Sing a Song“. Hear songs previous and new from their live performance here.
