Jason Statham knows a good show when he sees 1, and he would be interested in the sequel to last summer’azines “Expendables”. Screencrave reports:

When Statham spoke to the folks over at Collider, he has been asked about the sequel and also whether or not he would be interested in reprising his role.

“I’d be the first to say yes to a phone call via Sly. I mean, we chatted about it as soon as the movie begun to do really well and he affirms, you know, it would be great to do this again.”

I wouldn’t mind in any way if he was in the actual sequel either. But the much more I think about it, wouldn’t the original cast (not including those who unquestionably bad guys) return anyway? Stallone would certainly at least attempt to get the group back in action (Statham, Jet Li, Randy Premium, Mickey Rourke and Dolph Lundgren) I would think.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. I’michael saying it’s good. But I’m also of the way of thinking that naming other activity stars past or existing would have to fall in a ‘bad guy’ (or bad girl) classification.

Anyone hyped over a ‘Expendables 2″? Any individual want Statham or the rest of “the actual team” back?
