–Jeffrey Dean Morgan will star inside ‘Dibbuk Box,’ about a man whose daughter comes into container that was built to contain a dibbuk — a new dislocated spirit that inhabits and finally devours its human host. Sam Raimi will produce, with Danish overseer Ole Bornedal onboard to helm the terror film, which is based on a true story.

– It’s now been confirmed that Russell Crowe will co-star in RZA’s new martial-arts film, ‘The Man with the Straightener Fists,’ about a blacksmith who makes weapons for a small village in feudal China that must shield themselves from an attack. RZA, among the founders of The Wu Tang Clan will certainly direct off a script written by him and Eli Roth.

– Edgar Wright provides revealed that he’s once again again writing a new draft associated with ‘Ant-Man,’ telling the L . a . Times that This one’s not really about about the urgency involving summer tentpoles and things starting production without a script. It can be slightly different than that.

– The 1st official images of Jim Carrey in ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ have arrived on-line, featuring Carrey and — you thought it! — penguins. Based on the children’s e-book, Carrey stars in this updated version as being a high-powered real-estate developer who writes a follower letter to an explorer about the North and South Poles, and gets a penguin back in response. They eventually collects a whole gang of penguins and does funny things with them, we presume.

– The Force is strong with this cookie jar.

– Frances McDormand will tone of voice the villain in ‘Madagascar Three.’ The Hollywood Reporter says she’ll play the calculating and goal-oriented animal manage officer who leads your ex team to capture the actual animals.

– No more ‘Charlie’s Angels’ movies to look forward to, but there is a new TV show ramping up.

– Shane Black (‘Lethal Weapon,A ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’) has been induced to direct an English-language, live-action adaptation of the Japanese manga ‘Death Note,’ about a person named Mild who comes in contact with a notebook computer that gives them the power for you to kill anyone just by writing their name down within it. – More alien intrusion films are on the way, this time around courtesy of ‘District 9′ producer Bill Stop, who’s working a film called ‘Alien Sleeper Cell,’ that’s said to be a cross between the alien invasion film as well as ‘The Bourne Identity.’
