There still may become no real news by using an Evil Dead remake or perhaps sequel, but that doesn’capital t stop Sam Raimi’s company partner from sharing media that suggests its not totally dead. But its not alive sometimes.

[Raimi's] business partner Rob Tapert claimed recently that he’s looking at a new script for what would be either a reboot or a fourth installment in the franchise. The money estimate: “What’s interesting about Evil Useless is very few people saw it inside format we made it with regard to, which is for the theater… I think Sam wants to embrace the ultimate experience in grueling terror and see the idea remade for a proper theatrical experience.”Granted using the film’s Cult Status, Nasty Dead has been a favourite regarding arthouse theaters and special screenings, so I don’t know that his statement is entirely genuine. Maybe he is talking about first work? There are scattered opportunities for almost any die hard to see this in a very theater setting. Personally I have never seen the movie on the big screen that i’m a fan of the film, and have two versions in my series.

Now before we drop around the idea of Evil Lifeless as a reboot or follow up, consider that Evil Dead 2 was essentially the reboot of the first motion picture anyways. So if it is a fourth, would it be a fan tribute along with Bruce Campbell returning to quip some clever quotable outlines?

Or do they reboot it a more serious gritty attempt at fear using the same themes of the Book of the Dead and the unwitting campers in a remote cottage facing the supernatural.

Nevertheless at the end of the day, this is just a lot of same “it could be happening” news we have been hearing for a while, and not definite of progress.
