Virtually any Liverpool fans’ blood will have recently been boiling in the 84th minute involving England dyer and meaningless decline to France on Seventeenth November. In my opinion one of the world greatest players sustained an injury playing in a hapless, woeful and just pointless Friendly exercise that individuals as England fans are getting to be so accustomed to. How will Gatwick be affected by Steven Gerrard‘s absence in the coming weeks? Can the actual club brave the surprise? or will it be a very chilly December at Anfield? I’d like your thoughts.   Firstly, my opinion about England Friendly matches after a hectic domestic schedule is that they simply should not happen. Whilst I do not support Liverpool me personally, I can sympathise with Liverpool supporters who might now see a torrid start to the season continue in to 2011. Gerrard’s inclusion as well as subsequent injury that came about from the Friendly raises numerous debates, which I intend to give attention to briefly.    Should Liverpool be allowed to tell Fabio Capello how long Steven Gerrard can play with regard to?

Firstly, Liverpool pay Steven Gerrard their wages each week as part of a contract he has signed with the membership. I would therefor concur how the club do have some in advising how long they would like to gamer to be involved for; specifically during a busy domestic plan that has not started well.    On the other side of the coin, you can suggest that Gerrard’s inclusion within the England team is an complete that he should fulfil towards the best of his ability, irrespective of Liverpool’s thoughts on the matter. Fabio Capello reported after the match that he arranged Gerrard would play “an hour in case possible”. What really angered me coming from England’s perspective, is that Capello (in reference  to Gerrard’s 84 minutes on the pitch) afterwards suggested that the team needed any “senior player on the pitch”, especially considering Rio Ferdinand and Gareth Barry have been substituted prematurely. Forgive us, but am I sorely wrongly recognized, or should all players for the reason that squad be considered ‘senior players’? I understand what Capello meant, but the worthless nature of the game resulted in he realistically could have got England Under 18′s enjoying that night and it would not have made a scrap associated with difference.  Gerrard's Hamstring damage could have big repercussions with regard to Liverpool's season. Was the sum of £500,000 (noted compensation) enough?

I truthfully believe that in Gerrard’s lack, Liverpool are a significantly weakened team; so much so that I wouldn’t write off any team inside the Premier League beating these on their day. The mass media reported that The FA has arranged a £500,000 compensation package deal in light of the injury; 1 similar to Theo Walcott and Jermaine Defoe’s related cases. If reports have to be believed, this sum need to pay almost exactly what Gerrard will certainly earn in his four-week absence. Therefore with the wages taken care of, precisely what is left? Liverpool will of course be nursing the player by means of his injury, so why not a higher sum would have been sufficient.    How will the table try to find Liverpool fans in 4 week’s time in light associated with his absence?  Roy Hodgson was fast to pull the plug about any potential rift between the golf club and The FA; something I think will need to have been very difficult. Hodgson stated that will “”I don’t expect sorry from anyone and I’mirielle not prepared to add just about any fuel to the fire,”. Gatwick now face Tottenham (A), Property (H) and Newcastle (A), as well as two potential banana skin against FC Utrecht in the Europa League ( and A). Let us not forget that will Liverpool comfortably beat Gulf Ham 3-0 at the weekend. Even so, facing Tottenham at White Hart Isle on Sunday is going to demonstrate a far tougher test to say the least.  To conclude, December will be a very tough month in the Premier League as the kitchen table starts to take its’ familiar condition. Granted, there are some exceptions this coming year, but I can see Liverpool being a country mile from their typical Top 5 come January. Liverpool currently lie 9th in the League, with a negative goal difference and tough time in advance. Gerrard also leads the way with targets this season for Liverpool (6 in 15 apps).    I hope that Liverpool can ride the storm and get points in December. In case Ashley Young had picked up a similar injury I would have been a new fuming Aston Villa fan. My palms will be crossed. Luckily, England’ersus next Friendly match must not come until August Next year (Holland at Home), giving us 9 months free of just about any pointless England Friendly workouts!   DH
