More Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter news this morning as Dateline reviews Joaquin Phoenix has been offered your role of Honest Abe’ersus immortal mentor Henry, who teaches the Pres to be able to toss axes at evil goblins.
Deadline reports:
Joaquin Phoenix will be the front-runner to play the mentor who teaches the 16th Leader how to kill bloodsuckers in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter for Last century Fox. Phoenix has satisfied on the project and I’meters told that it’s their if he wants the idea. He would join Benjamin Walker, who last Thursday was set to play the title persona in the Timur Bekmambetov-directed adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith novel whose producers include Bernard Burton.
To be honest, as crazy in the real world as Phoenix seems to be, he’ersus generally always a joy to view on screen. This news is all beneficial to me, which is nice, contemplating I’m still reeling on the terrible casting of Jogger as Lincoln. While Runner is surely a fine actor, instead tall and he has Abe’s nose, he is otherwise a very imposing figure, strapping along with thick. I wish they had eliminated with Adrian Brody, who pulls off of the toned tough guy while still seeming thin.
